Boy Riley ID’d as Man Killed in Mauriceville Pedestrian Accident on Highway 12 near Woodridge

Mauriceville, Texas (November 27, 2019) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday night in Mauriceville has been identified as Boy Riley, 42, of Orange, according to the troopers.

The deadly crash occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m. November 26, on Highway 12 near Woodridge.

Authorities said Riley and a woman were attempting to cross the highway when Riley was hit by a westbound Dodge Nitro.

Riley was declared dead at the scene.

The woman and the Dodge driver were uninjured in the crash.

The Highway was closed for about two hours following the crash.

The Texas Department of Public Safety and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the crash.
