Breanna Wright Killed, One Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on I-10 in Beaumont

27-Year-Old Breanna Wright Killed, Woman Hospitalized after Beaumont Two-Vehicle Crash on I-10 near Merit Inn

Beaumont, Texas (April 11, 2020) – A woman was killed, and another was injured early Saturday morning in a wrong-way crash in Beaumont, police said.

The fatal crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. in the 2600 block of I-10 east in front of Merit Inn.

Police said Breanna Wright, 27, of Beaumont, was driving a Nissan westbound in the eastbound lane when she collided with an eastbound silver Subaru SUV driven by a woman.

Wright was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Subaru driver was taken to a local hospital with major injuries to her right leg.

The Beaumont police are investigating the crash.
