Brenda Ennis Killed in Potter County Two-Vehicle Crash at Loop 335 and Western

Potter County, Texas (August 26, 2020) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Potter County, just north of Amarillo, according to DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 3:10 p.m., August 24, at the intersection of Loop 335 and Western.

DPS said 71-year-old Brenda Ennis of Amarillo, was stopped in a Jeep at the intersection.

The Jeep then turned left and was hit on the driver’s side by an approaching northbound truck.

Ennis was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver and a 1-year-old passenger were uninjured in the crash.

The Texas Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
