Bret Alexander Wiseman Killed in Converse Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1516 near Binz-Engleman Road

Converse, Texas (May 28, 2020) – The man who was killed Tuesday evening in a head-on collision in Converse has been identified as Bret Alexander Wiseman, 26, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The fatal crash happened around 5:00 p.m. on May 26, on FM 1516 near Binz-Engleman Road.

According to police, witnesses said Wiseman was driving in the northbound lanes of the highway when he entered the southbound lanes to pass slower traffic and crashed head-on into a southbound vehicle.

Wiseman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The three people in the other vehicle were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
