Brin Adams Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Highway 114

Brin Adams ID’d as Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Highway 114 in Lubbock on Thursday night

Lubbock, Texas (October 1, 2022) – Authorities have identified the pedestrian who died after he was struck by a vehicle Thursday night on a highway in Lubbock as Brin Lee Adams, 42, of Dell City, Texas.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, the deadly crash happened at around 9:50 p.m. Thursday, September 29, on Highway 114.

Lubbock police said Adams was walking eastbound along Highway 114 when he was hit by a westbound 2013 Chevy Silverado that was making a lane change.

Adams died at the scene.

The Silverado driver was unhurt.

Highway 114 from the Hockley County Line to Research Boulevard was closed during the investigation.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
