Brook Durr and Jamie Phillips Killed in Hereford Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1058 and CR KK

Hereford, Texas (October 11, 2019) – Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in near Hereford, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 7:20 p.m. on October 9, in the area of FM 1058 and CR KK.

As per the report, the crash involved two vehicles. The circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately released.

DPS said Brook Durr, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. Durr was a member of the LGBTQ+ community and went by the name Carter James Durr.

Jamie Phillips, 24, was taken to Hereford Regional Medical Center where she later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
