Casey Stodgell ID’d as Man Killed in Temple Crash on Interstate 35 near Midway Drive

Temple, Texas (August 4, 2022) – The man who was killed in a three-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Temple has been identified by police.

Casey Allen Stodgell, 29, died in the crash that happened at around 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, on Interstate 35 near Midway Drive.

Police said the crash involved three vehicles, including an 18-wheeler.

Stodgell, a resident of Temple, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
