Celeste Huerta ID’d as Victim in Fatal Waco Pedestrian Crash on I-35

Waco, Texas (December 19, 2019) – The woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident early Saturday morning in Waco has been identified as Celeste Huerta,28, according to the authorities.

The accident took place around 3:30 a.m., December 14, on Interstate 35.

Authorities said Huerta was driving down the roadway when she got a flat tire. She pulled over to the side of the road and walked down the highway to ask for help.

As Huerta was walking, she was hit by a vehicle. She was killed in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
