Celestino Cadena ID’d as Man Killed in Natalia Train Accident at Corto Street and State Highway 132
Natalia, Texas (February 9, 2019) – The man who was killed in a train accident Thursday evening at a Natalia intersection has been identified as 64-year-old Celestino Cadena of Devine, according to the officials.
The fatal crash occurred at about 5:00 p.m. February 7, at the crossing at Corto Street and State Highway 132.
Police said a train crashed into a truck which was stalled at the crossing.
Cadena, who was driving the truck, attempted to get out of his truck but was struck before he could escape the path of the train.
Cadena was killed in the crash.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
