Charles Edward Winford Injured in Fatal Tom Green County Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 2334 and FM 765

Tom Green County, Texas (July 2, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Tom Green County, according to DPS.

The fatal crash happened just before 10:30 a.m., June 30, at the intersection of FM 2334 and FM 765.

DPS said Elida Constancia Ramon, 71, of Menard, was driving northbound on FM 2334 when she ran a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a vehicle driven by Charles Edward Winford, 52, of Millersview.

The impact caused both vehicles to roll over several times.

Ramon was pronounced dead at the scene.

Winford was taken to San Angelo Community Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
