Civilian Killed in Ector County Car Crash on University Boulevard; Bryan Madsen Arrested

Ector County, Texas (December 2, 2019) – A civilian was killed on Sunday in a T-bone crash involving a chase suspect in Ector County, according to the deputies.

The crash occurred on Sunday, December 1, on University Boulevard at the Lowes parking lot.

Deputies said Bryan Madsen, 48, was in pursuit with the authorities in the 1900 block of Mockingbird. Madsen was traveling westbound on University when he T-boned a vehicle pulling out of the Lowes parking lot.

The civilian was taken to the Medical Center Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Madsen was arrested and taken into custody. Charges against him are pending.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
