Construction Worker Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident on SH-288 near Almeda Genoa

Houston, Texas (February 29, 2020) – A construction worker was injured in a pedestrian accident Friday morning in Houston, according to the police.

The accident happened around 8:00 a.m. February 28, on SH 288 near Almeda Genoa.

Police the worker was struck by a cement mixer truck on the highway.

The worker was taken to the hospital where he is recovering.

The crash closed two southbound lanes of the highway.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
