Crystal Lewis Killed, Ernesta Perez, Irma Rallio, and Rosa Hernandez Injured in Pampa Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 152 at CR 3

Pampa, Texas (November 13, 2021) – One person was killed, and six others were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash, about four miles west of Pampa, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 7:15 a.m., November 11, at the intersection of State Highway 152 and County Road 3.

DPS said a 16-year-old Dalhart boy was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban and was stopped at a stop sign on CR 3 facing northbound while Crystal Lewis, 40, of Stinnett, was driving a 2019 Buick Enclave eastbound on SH 152.

The Suburban failed to yield the right-of-way and pulled out from the stop sign to head westbound on SH 152.

The front-left of the Suburban then hit the front-center of the Enclave.

Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Suburban driver was taken to an Amarillo hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Five passengers, Ernesta Perez, 48, a 17-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy, Irma Rallio, 25, and Rosa Hernandez, 31, were taken to Pampa Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other three passengers in the Suburban, Martha Perez, 19, Jose Gutierrez, 41, and Magalena Gutierrez, 29, were uninjured in the crash.

The Texas DPS Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
