Dade Michael Neujahr Killed in Killeen Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 195 at Chaparral Road

Killeen, Texas (August 14, 2020) – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Killeen, according to police.

The deadly crash occurred just before 7:00 p.m., August 12, on State Highway 195 at Chaparral Road.

Police said a Toyota Corolla was heading southbound on the highway when the driver attempted to turn left onto Chaparral Road.

The Corolla failed to yield the right of way and was struck on the right passenger side by a northbound Chevrolet Malibu.

The impact caused the Corolla to spin onto a grassy area where it overturned.

Three people in the Corolla, including Dade Michael Neujahr, 23, were taken to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, where Neujahr later died. The other two victims had critical injuries. 

The Malibu driver was also taken to Scott & White in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
