Dalton George Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 18 in Ward County

25-Year-Old Dalton George Killed in Ward County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 18

Ward County, Texas (February 11, 2020) – A Utah man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Ward County, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash took place around 6:15 a.m. February 9, at the intersection of State Highway 18 and State Loop 464.

DPS said a Ford Taurus driven by Dalton George, 25, of Kanosh, Utah, was heading northbound and was stopped at a stop sign on State Loop 464.

A Freightliner truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer driven by Alexis Serrano, 27, failed to yield the right of way, entered the intersection and struck the Taurus.

George was taken to Ward Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

Serrano and his passenger were uninjured in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
