40-Year-Old Dani Burk Killed in Pittsburg Pedestrian Crash on North Greer Boulevard

Pittsburg, Texas (February 6, 2020) – A woman was killed early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Pittsburg, according to the police.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 2400 block of North Greer Boulevard.

Police said 40-year-old Dani Burk, of Denison, was walking in the roadway when she was struck by a 2005 Chevrolet pickup driven by Danny Davenport.

Burk was killed in the crash.

Davenport fled the scene but was later located by the police.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
