Dave Brunson Killed in SW Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Bissonnet Street near Royal Park Drive

Harris County, Texas (April 5, 2021) – A man was killed early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run crash in southwest Harris County, according to authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 4:00 a.m., April 4, on Bissonnet Street, near Royal Park Drive and Eldridge Parkway.

Deputies said Dave Brunson was walking eastbound along the street when he was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Investigators said Brunson might have been walking in the middle lane of the road when he was hit.

Brunson was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The authorities are looking for the involved vehicle and the driver.

The deputies are investigating the crash.
