David Devon Morris ID’d as Man Killed in Beaumont Pedestrian Accident on Eastex Freeway

Beaumont, Texas (September 7, 2019) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident early Friday morning in Beaumont has been identified as David Devon Morris,39, according to the police.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. September 6, in the 6600 block of Eastex Freeway, near Cavender’s boot store.

Police said Morris was trying to cross the street when he was hit by an 18-wheeler on the southbound feeder road.

Morris was declared dead at the scene.
