David Gutierrez Killed in Midland Two-Vehicle Crash on IH-20

Midland, Texas (November 11, 2021) – A man was killed early Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Midland, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 4:30 a.m., November 10, in the 4100 block of W IH-20.

Police said a tan 2005 GMC Sierra was traveling eastbound when it rear-ended a white Chevrolet Silverado. The GMC then lost control, left the roadway, and rolled multiple times.

The GMC driver, 25-year-old David Gutierrez of Midland, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
