De’Undria Jackson Killed in Tenaha Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. Highway 59 and Loop 157

Tenaha, Texas (December 6, 2019) – A woman was killed Wednesday morning in a head-on collision in Tenaha, according to a local news release.

The fatal crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. December 4, at the intersection of Loop 157 and U.S. Highway 59.

As per the release, De’Undria Jackson, 21, of Tenaha, was driving a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica northbound on Loop 157 when she entered the intersection and was hit by a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup which was hauling a flatbed trailer.

Jackson was trapped in her car and had to be extricated. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Dodge driver, a 50-year-old Brownsboro man, was uninjured in the crash.

Three passengers in the truck were taken to Nacogdoches Medical Center with possible injuries.

The Tenaha Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating the crash.
