1 Killed, 1 Injured in Fort Worth Two-Vehicle Crash on East Loop 820 

Fort Worth, Texas (October 16, 2019) – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a wrong-way crash in Fort Worth, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of East Loop 820, between Wilbarger Street and Berry Street.

Police said a Nissan SUV was heading southbound in the northbound lanes when it crashed head-on into a Bud Light 18-wheeler.

The SUV driver was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
