Debra Jurek, Jesse Jurek and Catherine Jane Duffy Injured After Car Crashes into Parker County Home

Parker County, Texas (January 8, 2020) – Three people were injured early Tuesday morning after a car crashed into a house in Weatherford, according to the state troopers.

The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of East Bankhead Drive and Center Point Road.

DPS said Catherine Jane Duffy, 49, of Benbrook, was driving eastbound on Bankhead Highway when she failed to navigate a curve in the roadway and hit a house at the intersection.

Duffy was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with a broken leg.

Debra Jurek, 66, and her husband, Jesse Jurek, 62, were inside the house at the time of the crash. They were taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital for treatment, where Debra remains at the ICU with a neck injury. Jesse was treated and released.

Two people inside the home were taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital with unknown injuries. 

The crash remains under investigation.
