Deja Hardeman Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on FM 1825 near Wells Branch Parkway

Austin, Texas (June 19, 2021) – The woman who was fatally hit by a van last month in north Austin has been identified as Deja Hardeman,28, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 3:28 a.m., May 30, in the 15200 block of FM 1825, north of Wells Branch Parkway.

Police said Hardeman was crossing the street when she was struck by a van.

Hardeman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
