Delrio Huebel Killed in Car Crash on I-10 in Beaumont

Celsa Delrio Huebel Killed in Beaumont Two-Vehicle Crash on I-10 at FM 365

Beaumont, Texas (April 14, 2021) – According to the troopers, a Louisiana woman was killed Tuesday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Beaumont.

The fatal crash happened around 5:45 p.m., April 13, at the intersection of FM 365 and Interstate 10.

Troopers said a 2017 Chevrolet SUV was traveling northbound on FM 365 while a 2006 Pontiac passenger vehicle was traveling westbound on I-10. The Pontiac driver then took the exit ramp toward FM 365. She approached the intersection and stopped at the stop sign. She then pulled out into the path of the Chevrolet, resulting in a collision.

The Pontiac driver, Celsa Delrio Huebel, 76, of Iowa, Louisiana, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Chevrolet driver, a 28-year-old Beaumont woman, and two young children were uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
