Deon Lee, Mark Bailey Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 69 near Lufkin

Deon Lee and Mark Bailey Hospitalized after Lufkin Two-Vehicle on U.S.69

Lufkin, Texas (September 26, 2019) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning just south of Lufkin, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 3:50 a.m. September 25, on U.S. Highway 69.

As per the report, Deon Lee, 37, of Houston, was driving a 2012 Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer southbound on the highway. The Freightliner became disabled while attempting a U-turn and was hit by a 2019 Ford pickup driven by Mark Bailey, 38, of Zavalla.

Lee was taken to CHI St. Luke’s Memorial-Lufkin while Bailey was taken to Woodland Heights Medical Center for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
