Deputy Hospitalized After Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1960

Harris County, Texas (February 27, 2021) – A Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy was injured early Saturday morning in a DUI crash in Harris County, according to deputies.

The crash happened around 3:30 a.m., in the 11300 block of FM 1960.

Authorities said the deputy was stopped at a traffic light, and when the light turned green, he was rear-ended by an intoxicated driver.

Both the deputy and the intoxicated driver were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.

No other information was provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
