Deputy Injured in SE Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash at Blackhawk Boulevard and Sagedowne Lane

Harris County, Texas (March 7, 2022) – A deputy was injured Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash in southeast Harris County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 11:15 p.m., March 5, at the intersection of Blackhawk Boulevard and Sagedowne Lane.

Authorities said a suspect crashed into the side of the deputy’s car at the intersection.

The deputy was taken to the hospital with a possible leg injury.

The suspect fled the scene on foot but was arrested and taken into custody.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
