Deputy Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Grand Parkway in NW Harris County

Harris County, Texas – A deputy was killed on Tuesday after being struck by a vehicle in northwest Harris County, according to the Harris County Texas Sheriff’s Office.

The deadly accident happened on the Grand Parkway at Cumberland Ridge Drive.

Authorities said the deputy was assisting at a crash scene when he was struck by a vehicle. He was airlifted to Memorial Herman in the Medical Center in serious condition where he later died. His name has not been released.

The crash closed both directions of SH 99.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
