Deputy Injured in Harris County Crash on North Loop 610 near Kirkpatrick

Harris County, Texas (June 17, 2019) – A Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office deputy was hit by a vehicle Monday morning, according to a local news release.

The crash was reported around 9:50 a.m. on North Loop 610 near Kirkpatrick.

As per the release, fire crews were called to a motorcycle crash on the Loop and they found that a deputy had been hit by a vehicle. It is unclear if the deputy was on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.

The extent of the injuries sustained by the deputy was not immediately disclosed.

The crash remains under investigation.
