 Deshaun Williams Killed in Fiery Crash on I-45 in Walker County

25-Year-Old Deshaun Williams Killed in Walker County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45

Walker County, Texas (March 10, 2020) – A man was killed in a fiery traffic collision Sunday morning in Walker County, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 a.m. March 8, on Interstate 45 near mile marker 109 between Huntsville and New Waverly.

According to the troopers, Deshaun Williams, 25, of Houston, was stopped for unknown reasons in the inside northbound lane of the interstate.

Williams’ vehicle was then hit by a northbound semi-truck. The force of the impact resulted in a fire that engulfed the car and damaged the truck.

Williams was declared dead at the scene.

The semi-truck driver survived the crash.

No further details were released.

The crash remains under investigation.
