Dickie Jones Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on I-20 in Howard County

Dickie Jones Killed in Howard County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20

Howard County, Texas (February 10, 2022) – One person was killed Tuesday afternoon in a wrong-way crash in Howard County, according to the DPS.

The deadly crash occurred on February 8, on Interstate 20 South Service Road, 3 miles east of Big Spring.

DPS said a vehicle was traveling westbound when it drove into the wrong side of the road and collided with an eastbound car driven by Dickie Jones.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was taken to Scenic Medical Center, where they were treated and released.

The crash remains under investigation.
