59-Year-Old Donna Kinsella Injured in Fatal Gregg County Car Crash on State Spur 502 near FM-1844

Gregg County, Texas (August 6, 2019) – A 59-year-old Gaithersburg, MD woman was injured in a fatal multi-vehicle wreck that occurred early Tuesday morning north of Longview in Gregg County.

According to the DPS, the crash was reported at about 6:42 a.m. on State Spur 502, just south of FM-1844.

DPS said a 2009 Ford Fusion was traveling southbound on State Spur 502 when it crashed into the back of a 2015 Hyundai Sonata.

The Ford then rolled onto its side and was hit by a northbound 2020 Kia Sorento that was preparing to make a left turn onto FM 1844.

The driver of the Kia, Donna Kinsella, 59, was taken to Longview Regional Hospital and was in stable condition.

The driver of the Ford was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
