Driver Hit, Killed by Car on Lockwood in Harris County

One Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Lockwood

Harris County, Texas (February 4, 2021) – A driver was hit and killed by a vehicle after getting out of his car Wednesday night in northeast Harris County, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened just before 11:00 p.m., February 3, in the 12000 block of Lockwood.

Deputies said a Honda and a Cadillac were traveling southbound when they collided. The Honda then pulled off the road.

The Cadillac driver stopped on the roadway and got out of his vehicle, and was hit by a southbound Mercedes. The victim was pinned under the vehicle and was airlifted to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

Officers said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
