Driver Injured in La Porte Two-Truck Crash on Highway 225

La Porte, Texas (August 19, 2022) – A driver was injured Thursday afternoon in a truck crash in La Porte, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on August 18, on Highway 225.

Authorities said two trucks started hydroplaning when one clipped the other, causing it to flip.

The truck then went airborne and went off the overpass. The driver was either ejected or jumped from the cab of the truck and landed on the freeway.

That driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
