Driver Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Sherwood Way and Oxford in San Angelo

One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Sherwood Way and Oxford

San Angelo, Texas (June 23, 2020) – One person was injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to police.

The crash took place on June 22, at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Oxford.

Police said an SUV was heading eastbound on Sherwood Way while another SUV was heading southbound on Oxford.

The SUV on Oxford ran a red light and crashed into the other SUV, which had a green light, pushing it into a private property where it struck a private utility pole.

The driver of the SUV that struck the utility pole was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The other driver was cited for disregarding the red light.

The crash remains under investigation.
