Driver Killed in Crash with Dump Truck on Loop 12 Walton Walker in Dallas

One Killed in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 12 Walton Walker near Jefferson Boulevard

Dallas, Texas (March 29, 2020) – One person was killed Friday night in a rear-end collision involving a dump truck in Dallas, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened at about 8:45 p.m., March 27, on Loop 12 Walton Walker, near Jefferson Boulevard.

Dallas police said a driver rear-ended a dump truck in southbound lanes of the highway. 

The driver was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver of the dump truck was uninjured. He remained at the scene.

Investigators said speed was a major factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
