Driver Killed in Houston Crash on 610 West Loop at Southwest Freeway

Houston, Texas (February 16, 2023) – A driver was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon in Houston, police said.

The crash happened at around 1:41 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, on the southbound lanes of the West Loop at Southwest Freeway.

The driver suffered a medical episode while driving, causing a crash involving at least four vehicles.

After the crash, the driver was transported to a hospital, where they died.

No other injuries were reported.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
