Driver Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Katy Freeway in Houston

One Killed in Houston Multi-Vehicle Crash on Katy Freeway Feeder Road

Houston, Texas (June 4, 2020) – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies, a driver was killed Wednesday night in a wrong-way crash in Houston.

The fatal crash happened around 7:50 p.m. on June 3, on the Katy Freeway feeder between Mason Road and the Grand Parkway.

Deputies said a sedan was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes on the feeder road when it crashed into another vehicle, causing two other vehicles to crash into the first two vehicles.

The wrong-way driver was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Another person was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The crash closed the feeder road for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
