Dwight Ball Killed in Galveston Motorcycle Accident on Avenue J

Galveston, Texas (November 8, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night in a crash in Galveston, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened around 10:53 p.m., November 5, in the 3700 block of Avenue J.

According to the report, a motorcycle was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when it ran the red light and struck a white Jeep.

The motorcyclist, Dwight Ball, 39, of Houston, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.

One occupant of the Jeep was taken to UTMB Health at Galveston for treatment, while a second passenger was treated and released at the scene.

The Galveston Police Department’s Crash Team is investigating the crash.
