Edwin O’Neal Wilbert Killed in Marshall Two-Vehicle Crash on Victory Drive 

Marshall, Texas (July 13, 2021) – One person was killed and another was injured on Sunday in a two-vehicle crash in Marshall, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before noon, on July 11, in the 5100 block of Victory Drive.

Police said a 2002 Buick Century was traveling westbound in the inside lane of Victory Drive when it was rear-ended by a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe.

The force of the impact caused both vehicles to spin out of control.

 The Buick driver, Edwin O’Neal Wilbert, 66, of Marshall, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Hyundai driver, Katrail Ray Flanagan, 24, of Marshall, was taken to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center for treatment.

The Marshall Police Department is investigating this crash.
