Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Alabonson Road near Greenway Forest Lane

Houston, Texas (November 2, 2019) – A man in his 80s was killed in a pedestrian accident Friday morning in northwest Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred around 6:15 a.m. November 1, on Alabonson Road near Greenway Forest Lane.

Police said the man was walking in the middle of the northbound lane when he was hit by a white Chevrolet Cobalt. The roadway is not well lit.

The man was declared dead at the scene. He had just wandered away from his home and suffered from dementia.

An investigation is ongoing.
