Eloy Soliz and Marie Gonzalez Killed in Kingsville Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 141

Kingsville, Texas (November 30, 2021) – Two people were killed Monday morning in a head-on collision, just west of Kingsville, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 11:20 a.m., November 29, on Highway 141.

DPS said a Chevy Impala was traveling westbound on the highway when it veered into the oncoming lane and crashed head-on into a Nissan Infiniti.

The Impala driver, Eloy Soliz, 73, of Benavides, and his passenger, Marie Guadalupe Gonzalez, 60 also from Benavides, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The female driver of the Infiniti was taken to a local hospital with major injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
