San Antonio Woman Elysia Leos Dies in Duval County Crash on Highway 59

Duval County, Texas (February 12, 2019) – A San Antonio woman was killed in a deadly head-on collision near Freer in Duval County on Sunday evening.
According to the DPS, the wreck took place at about 5:44 p.m. Sunday, February 10 on Highway 59, approximately 12 miles north of Freer.
DPS said a man was driving a Mercedes-Benz northbound on Highway 59 when he failed to maintain a single lane and collided with a southbound 2018 Freightliner semi-trailer.
A passenger in the Mercedes, Elysia Neylan Leos, 21, of San Antonio, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
