Emily Rampone ID’d as Woman Killed in Andrews Crash on FM 1788

Andrews, Texas (June 24, 2019) – The woman who was killed Friday morning in a two-car accident in Andrews has been identified.

Emily Rampone, 35, of Andrews, died in the crash that occurred at about 4:14 a.m. Friday, June 21 on FM 1788, about 14 miles southeast of Andrews.

Authorities said Rampone was driving a Toyota Tundra northbound on FM 1788 when she failed to stay in her lane and collided with a Ford F-250 pickup operated by Robert Long.

Rampone was pronounced dead at the scene. Long was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
