Emily Zaltsman ID’d as Girl Killed in San Antonio Car Crash on Loop 1604
San Antonio, Texas (May 27, 2019) – The girl who was killed in a rear-end crash Thursday evening in San Antonio has been identified as Emily Zaltsman, 13, according to the authorities.
The crash happened just after 6:00 p.m. May 23, on Loop 1604 at the I-10 interchange.
Police said Zaltsman was a backseat passenger in a black Lexus that was rear-ended by a Jeep.
Zaltsman was rushed to University Hospital with a severe head injury where she later died.
Police said intoxication was not a factor in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
