Enrique Urquizu Killed in The Woodlands Two-Vehicle Crash at New Trails Drive and Gosling Road

The Woodlands, Texas (May 8, 2021) – A man was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in The Woodlands, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 9:15 a.m., May 6, at the intersection of New Trails Drive and Gosling Road.

DPS said a 2010 Lexus E350 was traveling on New Trails Drive when it turned left on Gosling Road, failed to yield the right of way, and hit a northbound 2012 Nissan Sentra.

The driver of the Sentra, Enrique Pablo Urquizu, 81, of The Woodlands, was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The Lexus driver, a 70-year-old Conroe woman, was uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
