Eric Naranjo, Maureen Garrow and Robert Tyson Womble Killed in San Antonio Plane Crash on West Rhapsody Drive

San Antonio, Texas (December 5, 2019) – The three people who were killed in a plane crash Sunday evening in San Antonio have been identified as Maureen Garrow,71, of Spring, Robert Tyson Womble,38, and 22-year-old college student Eric Naranjo, according to the authorities.

The deadly crash happened on Sunday, December 1, in the 600 block of West Rhapsody Drive near the San Antonio International Airport.

Officials said the single-engine aircraft took off from Sugar Land heading to Boerne when it began to experience engine trouble. The pilot, Womble, tried to divert to the San Antonio International Airport, but came up short of the airport and crashed.

Womble, Naranjo, and Garrow were killed in the crash.

The NTSB and the FAA are investigating the crash.
