Evelyn Flores, Julian and Ivan Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash at Thousand Oaks Drive and Alamo Blanco Street

San Antonio, Texas (January 10, 2023) – Three people were killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 10:30 p.m., January 8, at the intersection of Thousand Oaks Drive and Alamo Blanco Street.

Police said a red car made an unsafe left turn onto Alamo Blanco and failed to yield the right of way to a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep then slammed into the right side of the red car, causing it to flip and slam into a concrete base.

Three siblings in the red car were pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as 22-year-old Evelyn Flores, 17-year-old Ivan, and 10-year-old Julian.

The family is raising money for funeral expenses.

Two people in the Jeep were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The Jeep driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, pedestrian, 18-wheeler, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A. Gordon & Associates, we will act quickly to secure accident scene photos, interview witnesses, obtain police records, and secure other valuable evidence needed to win your case.  Call now for a free consultation.
