Fabiola Cervantes Killed in NE Austin Pedestrian Accident on Highway 290 near Berkman Drive

Austin, Texas (May 28, 2022) – The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Northeast Austin has been identified as 29-year-old Fabiola Cervantes, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 3:30 a.m., May 21, in the 7000 block of the eastbound service road of Hwy 290, near Berkman Drive.

Police said Cervantes was on the roadway when she was struck by a vehicle. She was taken to the hospital, where she later died.

The driver was uninjured in the crash and stayed at the scene.
