Father and 2-Year-Old Son Injured in Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on Sam Houston Parkway near Hollister

Harris County, Texas (September 8, 2019) – A father and his 2-year-old son were injured Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Harris County, according to the deputies.

The crash took place just before 5:00 a.m. in the 49000 block of Sam Houston Parkway near Hollister.

Deputies said a vehicle ran a red light and crashed into another car. The impact pushed the car carrying the boy across a median.

The boy and his father were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Officers said the boy was safely secured in a car seat.

Impairment was not a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
